Navigating the Airport
Step-by-Step Guide
Once your plane lands you'll enter Terminal A or B — both follow the same flow:
Pass Through Immigration
Follow signs to Migración. Have your passport, E-Ticket QR code, and flight details ready. Lines can move quickly but expect a wait during peak hours.
Collect Your Luggage
Walk into baggage claim and check the overhead monitors for the carousel assigned to your flight number.
Clear Customs
Pass through Aduana. Most travelers get a green light to walk straight through, though you may be selected for a quick routine bag scan.
Exit the Terminal
After clearing customs, pass through the final doors. Keep moving steadily toward the outdoor pickup zone — more on the "Shark Tank" below.

Crucial Tip
Beware of the "Shark Tank"
Immediately after clearing customs, before you reach the outdoor exit, you'll walk through an indoor hallway often called the "Shark Tank."
This area is filled with high-energy representatives offering timeshares, excursions, and "cheap" taxi rides. They can be convincing and may act like your official resort shuttle driver.
What to do: Don't stop to talk to anyone in this hallway. Smile, say "No, gracias," and keep walking straight through the sliding glass doors. Your actual transportation will only be waiting outside the building.

Finding Your Ride Outside
Once you step into the fresh air, the atmosphere opens up:
- Look for the Signs You'll see drivers holding signs. If you pre-booked a transfer, look for the company logo or a sign with your name.
- Grab a Drink Outdoor bars are right outside the exits. If you wait a few minutes for your ride, grab a cold Presidente or a water to kick off the trip!
- Head to the Resort Once loaded, it's a smooth 25-minute highway drive straight to the Hard Rock gates.
